Authenticity & Originality §

• Only upload content you have personally created or have explicit permission to share.
• Do not present another creator's work as your own.
• Do not duplicate, repurpose, or compile content scraped from other platforms.
• Do not manufacture or fabricate fashion credentials, work history, or affiliations.

Platform Scope & Content Relevance §

What Counts as Fashion-Related Content §

Fashion-related content includes, but is not limited to:

• Personal style, outfit posts, and everyday dressing inspiration.
• Fashion photography, editorials, lookbooks, and mood boards.
• Commentary, critique, and discussion of fashion trends, collections, and industry news.
• Sustainable fashion advocacy, ethical sourcing, and slow fashion content.
• Behind-the-scenes content from design, styling, or production processes.
• Activewear, sportswear, and performance wear presented in the context of style and dressing.
• Fashion-adjacent travel content centred on fashion weeks, style destinations, or shopping culture.
• Brand showcases, product launches, and creative fashion campaigns (subject to profile type rules — see Section 03).

Off-Topic Content §

Content that falls outside the scope of fashion is not permitted on Tailorte and may be removed without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to:

• General fitness, exercise, or workout content where fashion or apparel is not the focus.
• Food, beverage, or lifestyle content unrelated to fashion culture.
• Political, religious, or social commentary without a demonstrable connection to fashion or the fashion industry.
• Travel content not centred on fashion, style, or the creative industries.
• Generic personal updates, memes, or entertainment content with no fashion relevance.

Users who repeatedly publish off-topic content will receive a notice of non-compliance. Continued disregard for this requirement may result in content removal, account restrictions, or suspension.

Personal Profiles & Business Activity §

Personal Profiles §

Personal profiles are intended for individual fashion enthusiasts to share their own style, creative expression, and personal inspiration. Personal profiles must not be used to:

• Advertise, promote, or sell products or services on behalf of a business, brand, or commercial entity.
• Operate a storefront, drive traffic to a commercial website, or solicit sales from other users.
• Publish recurring promotional content for third-party brands, labels, or retailers.
• Function as a de facto business account by consistently posting commercial or marketing material.
• Send unsolicited commercial or promotional direct messages to other users.

Business Profiles §

Users and entities who wish to represent a brand, promote products, conduct commercial activity, or publish marketing content on Tailorte are required to create a dedicated Business Profile. Business Profiles are equipped with the appropriate tools for professional and commercial fashion activity and are subject to Tailorte's Business Terms of Service.

Tailorte actively encourages designers, stylists, brands, retailers, and creative agencies to take advantage of the Business Profile features, which are designed to support legitimate commercial expression in a structured and transparent manner.

Enforcement §

Content published on a personal profile that constitutes commercial promotion or business activity will be removed. Users who persist in misusing a personal profile for business purposes — including those who attempt to circumvent these rules by misrepresenting a business account as a personal one — may be subject to the following enforcement actions, applied progressively at Tailorte's discretion:

• Content removal — the specific post or posts will be deleted without further notice.
• Formal warning — a notification will be issued setting out the breach and the expected corrective action.
• Account restriction — posting or engagement capabilities may be temporarily limited.
• Temporary suspension — access to the account may be suspended for a defined period.
• Permanent account termination — repeated or deliberate misuse will result in permanent removal from the platform.

Creative Credit & Attribution §

Fashion is inherently collaborative. Tailorte expects creators to acknowledge contributions.

• Credit photographers whose images you post, unless you are the photographer.
• Credit stylists, designers, models, and creative directors in editorial or collaborative content.
• Do not remove or obscure existing watermarks or attribution embedded in images.
• If a collaborator requests to be credited or un-tagged, honour that request promptly.

Consent & Privacy of Individuals §

Photographed Individuals §

• Obtain consent before photographing and publishing images of identifiable individuals.
• Respect takedown requests from individuals appearing in your content.
• Do not publish images that reveal private locations, home addresses, or daily movements.

Minors §

• Content featuring minors must serve a legitimate fashion or family lifestyle purpose.
• Never post content that sexualises, objectifies, or places a minor in a suggestive context.
• Parents and guardians bear full responsibility for content they publish including their children.
• Tailorte will remove and report child sexual exploitation material to relevant authorities without exception.

Private & Sensitive Photography §

• Do not publish intimate, private, or undressing imagery of any individual without explicit written consent.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) is prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.

Respectful Community Conduct §

Harassment & Bullying §

• Do not direct abusive, threatening, or humiliating messages at other users.
• Do not organise or participate in coordinated harassment campaigns.
• Do not publish content specifically designed to shame, ridicule, or distress another individual.

Hate Speech & Discrimination §

Tailorte does not permit content that promotes hatred or dehumanisation based on:

• Race, ethnicity, or national origin.
• Religion or religious beliefs.
• Gender identity or expression.
• Sexual orientation.
• Disability or health condition.
• Age, body size, or physical appearance.
• Socioeconomic background or immigration status.

Fashion commentary on style and aesthetics is acceptable. Attacks on people's identities are not.

Body Image §

• Do not publish content that promotes eating disorders, extreme dieting, or unhealthy weight loss practices.
• Do not use language or imagery that shames body types, skin conditions, or physical appearance.
• Tailorte supports body-positive fashion expression across all shapes, sizes, and presentations.

Intellectual Property in Content §

All users must respect the intellectual property of designers, photographers, and brands. See the Copyright & IP Policy for the full takedown process.

• Do not republish editorial images from magazines or websites without express licence.
• Do not use brand logos, trademarks, or campaign imagery in ways that misrepresent affiliation.
• Do not post content that promotes or glorifies counterfeit fashion products.

AI-Generated & Digitally Manipulated Content §

• AI-generated or significantly altered images are permitted on Tailorte.
• Creators are strongly encouraged to disclose AI-generated content using the platform's AI disclosure label.
• AI-generated content must not falsely depict a real identifiable person in a misleading, defamatory, or sexual context.
• AI-generated content must not fabricate professional credentials, fake press coverage, or mislead viewers about portfolio authenticity.
• Brand accounts must not use AI-generated imagery to misrepresent product quality, availability, or design.

Sponsored & Commercial Content §

• Any post that is paid for, gifted, or sponsored by a brand must be clearly disclosed using the platform's paid partnership or #ad label.
• Disclosure must be immediate and prominent — not buried in hashtags or truncated captions.
• Content that falsely implies a brand relationship where none exists is prohibited.
• Disclosure obligations apply regardless of the creator's audience size.

Counterfeit & Inauthentic Products §

• Do not promote, advertise, sell, or facilitate access to counterfeit fashion goods.
• Do not falsely claim that replicas, dupes, or knock-offs are authentic branded products.
• Commentary, criticism, or journalism about the counterfeit fashion industry is permitted.

Prohibited Content Categories §

The following content is absolutely prohibited and will be removed without warning:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or gratuitously nude content.
• Content that sexualises minors in any form.
• Violent, graphic, or gore-based content not serving a legitimate editorial purpose.
• Threats of violence or harm directed at any individual or group.
• Content facilitating illegal activity including drug sales, weapons trafficking, or human exploitation.
• Financial scams, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent promotions.
• Doxxing — publishing private personal information without consent.
• Content designed to facilitate self-harm or suicide.

Reporting Violations §

All users are encouraged to report content or accounts that violate these guidelines using the in-platform reporting tool. Reports are reviewed by the Trust & Safety team. Tailorte does not disclose reporter identities.

Abuse of the reporting system — for example, mass-reporting a competitor — is itself a violation and may result in enforcement action.
