Account Type Definitions §

Personal Account
For individuals using Tailorte for non-commercial personal style expression: outfit sharing, fashion inspiration, and community participation. Commercial activity is not permitted.
Creator Account
For independent content creators, fashion bloggers, stylists, photographers, models, and influencers operating professionally or semi-professionally as individuals.

For companies, brands, agencies, studios, and organisations operating commercially in the fashion industry. Required for fashion brands, design studios, modelling agencies, fashion retailers, and PR or marketing agencies.
02

Eligibility & Verification §

Creator Account §

Any user may apply to upgrade to a Creator account. Creator accounts gain access to:

  • Analytics dashboard with detailed engagement and audience insights.
  • Paid partnership disclosure label for sponsored content.
  • Priority review for reported content disputes.
  • Access to creator monetisation features (where available).

Business Profile §

Business profiles require verification of commercial identity. Tailorte may request:

  • Business registration documentation.
  • Brand trademark evidence.
  • A valid business email address from a registered domain.
  • Physical or registered business address.

Tailorte reserves the right to approve, decline, or downgrade any Business Profile application at its sole discretion.

03

Commercial Content Standards §

Transparency Requirements §

  • All paid or gifted content must be disclosed in compliance with applicable advertising standards including the German UWG, EU Directive 2005/29/EC, and applicable consumer protection laws.
  • Disclosure must be clear and conspicuous at the beginning of the post caption or via the platform's official disclosure label — not buried in hashtags.
  • Affiliate links must be disclosed, including those earning indirect commission.

Accuracy in Commercial Content §

  • Product claims, descriptions, and representations must be accurate and not misleading.
  • Before and after imagery must be genuine and not digitally manipulated to deceive consumers.
  • Follower and engagement metrics promoted in media kits must be authentic.
  • AI-generated content used in commercial campaigns must be disclosed to Tailorte if requested.

Prohibited Commercial Activity §

  • Personal accounts may not promote external shops, marketplaces, or commercial services.
  • Business profiles may not operate as unlicensed marketplaces facilitating third-party sales.
  • No account may run sweepstakes or contests that violate applicable promotion laws without prior review.
  • Pyramid schemes, MLM schemes, and fraudulent investment promotions are absolutely prohibited.
04

Creator Monetisation Features §

Monetisation features (tipping, paid subscriptions, brand partnership matching) are subject to availability.

  • Creators must be at least 18 years of age to access monetisation features.
  • Creators are solely responsible for declaring and paying taxes on income earned through the platform.
  • Tailorte may take a platform fee on monetised transactions as disclosed in the relevant feature terms.
  • Monetisation features may be withdrawn or modified at any time with reasonable notice.
05

Business Profile Content Rules §

  • Business profiles may publish lookbooks, campaign content, behind-the-scenes, and portfolio work.
  • Business profiles may not publish content that denigrates competitor brands, models, or designers.
  • Business profiles may not use Tailorte as a direct e-commerce channel collecting payments through posts.
  • Business profiles are responsible for ensuring all content they post — including content created by hired photographers or stylists — complies with these Terms.
06

Influencer & Brand Partnership Rules §

  • Brands and creators entering paid partnerships are jointly responsible for ensuring content disclosure.
  • Brands may not instruct creators to remove or obscure disclosure labels.
  • Tailorte may remove undisclosed sponsored content and notify regulatory authorities where legally required.
  • Content created under a partnership agreement granting a brand unlimited publishing rights must still comply with these policies when posted to Tailorte.
07

Account Downgrade & Conversion §

Tailorte may require a user to upgrade to a Business Profile if commercial activity is detected. Tailorte may downgrade or revoke a Business Profile if:

  • Verification documents are found to be false or fraudulent.
  • Commercial activity violates these policies.
  • Legal requirements for the account type cannot be satisfied.
