Retention Principles §

Tailorte retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. We apply data minimisation principles throughout.

Account Deletion §

When a user deletes their account:

Public profile content
Removed within 30 days.
Anonymised usage data
May be retained in aggregate form for up to 24 months.
Third-party shared content
Content shared by others incorporating your original content may remain subject to the third party's rights.
Legal compliance records
Dispute data and enforcement records may be retained for up to 7 years in compliance with German legal obligations.

Content Removal §

Content removed by moderation action is deleted from public view immediately. Internal records of removed content and the reason for removal are retained for 12 months for appeals and compliance purposes.

Backup & Recovery §

Backups containing personal data are retained for up to 90 days following deletion. After this period, data is purged from backup systems in the normal backup rotation cycle.
